Privacy statement
flogr respects your privacy. This page explains what we collect and why.
What we store
- Account data — your name, email, optional phone number and home location, used to run your account and adverts.
- Adverts — the content, photos and approximate location you provide. Advert map pins are deliberately offset and never show an exact address.
- Messages — conversations between buyers and sellers are stored so both sides can read them; your email address is never shown to the other party.
- Cookies — a session cookie when signed in, plus small cookies remembering saved ads, recently viewed items and recent searches for guests.
- Face verification — if you set up face verification, your photo is stored privately and never shown on your public profile. When you and another member both agree to meet in person, a copy of each photo is shared with the other party for that meeting and kept on record so we can help if a deal goes wrong. These meeting copies are automatically deleted 6 months after the meeting; you can remove your own verification photo at any time in Account Settings.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your personal data.
- Card payments are handled by Stripe — card numbers never touch flogr's servers.
- Photo metadata (including GPS location) is stripped from every image on upload.
Your rights
You can update your details in Account Settings at any time. To delete your account and data, email [email protected].
